If you would like a fragrance to wear and take home from Seoul, join our Perfume Making Workshop. Begin with a house base, explore materials chosen for your preferences and refine your blend with guidance.
Send us any specific notes you want to explore in advance. This helps us check availability and recommend an appropriate session.
Fragrance commissions for brands and creative work
A commissioned scent starts with a brief: a book, a character, a space, a performance or a brand identity. We discuss the story, intended use and production needs before proposing a direction.
Our practice brings together signature scent consulting, scent for spaces and performances, literature programmes and personal perfume making. A project may call for fragrance development, scent direction, or naming and concept work. We define that role with you at the beginning.
Possible formats include a perfume or fragrance product, a diffuser, a scent for a space, or a workshop connected to your project. Small production runs can be discussed; quantities, packaging, timing and pricing depend on the brief.
Publishing and literature
Translate the atmosphere of a book into fragrance, develop a scent to accompany a publication, or create a workshop for readers. Our experience includes literary scent work with Minumsa and Nouhaus.
The Minumsa literary fragrance series interprets The Last Leaf, The Old Man and the Sea, Pride and Prejudice and The Masque of the Red Death through four different scents.
Exhibitions and performance
Explore how scent can contribute to an artwork, exhibition or stage production. We consider how the fragrance will be experienced in the actual setting, alongside the work it accompanies.
Selected work includes a signature scent for the music theatre production 캐롤 in 2025, performance and signature scents for 나리 in 2026, and fragrance for an archiving exhibition about the film PERFECT DAYS in 2025.
Brands, hotels and gifts
Develop a fragrance that expresses a brand or place. Past work includes scents for Josun Hotel, Hanwha Life, Coffee Bean and Nouhaus. The format may be a product, a gift, a spatial scent or a related guest experience, depending on the project.
Recent fashion work includes signature fragrance development for THE RYE in 2025, and fragrance naming and concept work for an FFAR autumn/winter collection.

How a commission begins
1. Interpret the story. We read the brief, the work and its context. Interviews and text research help identify the ideas the scent should express. 2. Develop the fragrance. We translate those ideas into notes and accords, then refine samples through an agreed feedback process. 3. Complete the experience. We consider how the scent works in its intended space or product. Naming, descriptive text and printed cards can form part of the agreed scope.
Before development and production, we confirm the deliverables, approximate quantity, budget, schedule and terms with you.
